First off, hello again!

It's been quite a while I will admit, this time uni got in the way (I still can't quite believe that I've pretty much finished my first year!) It's been a bit of a rollercoaster but I've met some brilliant people and really enjoyed myself here. My course is interesting, challenging and I've yet to meet an unpleasant person (and there are so many incredibly pleasant ones!)

I've managed to post a piece or two up from the last 2 years but there's a bit more yet to come and I'm still drawing, mainly from reference photo's still but I'm trying more freehand stuff and bits from life.

I'll leave it there for now. Drop in and let me know if you're still alive or not!

1. Who's your favourite artist on DA? Why does their art inspire you?
again the rough feel to their work, the vibrant colours and everything that they capture in their work.

2. Favourite non anime TV show?
Oh wow so so many, ahhh Game of Thrones currently. They have done such a fantastic job with it so far!

3. What was the last thing you drew/wrote? What do you like about it?
The last complete serious work would be a potrait of John Snow from GoT (up soon I promise) last sketch was a rough of a tree, I was experimenting with leaved from a distance.

4. What do you want to improve on in your artistic repertoire?
Bodies of people. I just can't get the proportions down right unless I use a high quality large reference photo and often a grid method.

5. Favourite piece of music right now?
A draw between Sail-Reichenback remix (see on youtube) Ghost River - Nightwish and Revolution Roulette (The song, but goodness knows I do love that entire album)- Poets of the Fall

I'm Still Here I Swear!

Wow the last entry has been up for a year and a half. So I thought I'd put up a little update, say hello, explain where I've been and what's happening!

So "Where've I been?"

Well mainly trying to get my life for the next 4 years sorted out. This year is my last year in secondary school so since I decided to apply to university (Yes that makes me 18, scary though eh?) I've spent quite a bit of time this year looking at, visiting and being interviewed at them.

I nearly made an application to Oxford Uni, but decided at the last minute (as in application was ready and I was planning to send it on the last possible day when I changed! parents weren't best pleased ) not to due to pressure and because I felt that preparing for the PAT (Physics Aptitude test) might have detracted from my exams at Christmas.

SO long story short I am accepting a place at Royal Holloway University in London for a 4 year course in Physics (MSci rather than MPhys it seems ) So long as I get the grades (AA in maths and physics with a B in anything else, biology in my case.)

I still need to apply for student finance and accommodation....¬¬

BUT at least I get the current low course payments! (£3000 per year roughly instead of the new max of £9000 next year   )

I'm now revising for my end of year exams so I'm still not going to be around a great deal yet.

I have finally managed to catch up to the current season (6) and am more than a little irritated since 2/3 of my favourite characters are dead and don't appear to be coming back ¬¬

Hello everyone ^^

Since this is the first time I'm really doing anything for Halloween I thought I'd share and also ask what you're doing/planning on, or what you've done in the past. Since different areas seem to take it more seriously than others.

Anyway, I've got a costume party on the 31st at a friends. I plan to go dressed as the New "Mad Hatter" from the up and coming Alice in Wonderland. The main reason being that I don't need to buy a wig since I can just brush my hair XD

So just out of interest what to do you/will do for Halloween? Anything you've done before that stands out in your memory? Or something thats particular to where you live or just a family tradition. My parents keep saying about how they used to carve turnips (and my dad still maintains that he used to carve parsnips XD)

Ontop of that I was told by my sister that I had almost 4K pageviews ans that I should offer a Kiriban

Since this has always slipped my mind before I'd be happy to offer it now.

So for the 4K pageshot (or closest to 4000 since the one number can be tricky)

I'd love to offer the peron who catches it a full piece of work. It can be whatever, detailed pencil work (like the old DMC and FF works), character lineart, a request in traditional...

In fact instead of me listing what I'll do lets just say I'll give almost anything a shot

Ok, so where to start?

I guess first is to apologise for being so inactive this summer, I am now trying to work my way through a buildup of dev;s and comments/journals. So if I don't say anything on recent stuff it's because I'm woorking my way slowly through the past

As far as my holidays went just about everything was excellent, I just got back from 2 days in London (we were staying right next to the Tower Bridge!) where we walked so much I swear I've lost 2 inchs from my height due to wearing down my feet XD

I've also just recieved my GCSE results which were great, A*'s in 2 subjects (Physics and Chem which is great as their 2 of the more difficult subjects I'm taking this year) and then 1 B and roughly 8 A's ^^ So I'm very happy and have all my subjects choices for this year sorted. Very exciting stuff

Holidays didn't all go well, Mother was diagnosed with very early onset breast cancer during one of her checkups at the doctors. The op happened 2 weeks after that and they got it all, but she'll be getting chemotherapy incase a cell or two floated off during the op. The tumour was both fast growing and malignant so it setting up elewhere is the last thing she needs.

But she'll be fine, the op was the mildly worrying part and all went well ^^

Woah, dropped in for a moment to check my messages aaaand.....was amazed!

I mean 13 faves and watches since my update (1-2 nights ago?) Mainly on the 3 new images ^^

I'm glad you like them, you have no idea how hyper I now am due to this (more so than if I'd had a cheese sandwich!) XD

Anyway. I mentioned it in one of the A/N's in the new pieces but I'll put it up here as well.

It's the summer holidays therefor I'm fairly bored. Creating these 2 new little guys was very fun. Therefor....
